This exhibition explored the work of the Festival Pattern Group,
a unique collaboration between scientists and pattern designers celebrating the ‘Festival of Britain’. The graphic scheme drew inspiration from atomic structures, expressing the optimism of the 1950s through the period-futurism of the anodised palette.
