Exhibition Design Museum – Alan Fletcher: 50 years of graphic work (and play) 2006

Text

Powder-coated Kee-Klamp scaffolding provided an economical structure for this retrospective exhibition and conveyed the ethos of ‘make-do modernism’ in the designer’s work. Fletcher used
this system himself in his own home and studio. Physical items from his studio walls were incorporated into the portrait
at the entrance to the exhibition.
