Originally built as a private home, Stoke Place is now a luxury hotel particularly noted for its surrounding garden: 26 acres of parkland landscaped by Capability Brown. Following a refurbishment in 2006, GTF was commissioned to create the identity and its touchpoints throughout the hotel. With reference to the natural surroundings, the leaf motif acts as a playful foil to the formal type – an acknowledgement of Ilse Crawford’s interior which combines vintage with contemporary to create an environment that is both informal and luxurious.
